Gymnastik Schweizer Meisterschaft Jugend
Zum Saisonabschluss fanden am 5. + 6. Dezember 2015 in Obersiggenthal die Schweizer Meisterschaften Vereinsturnen Jugend statt.
Die Jugendgruppe, der Gymnastik Wetzikon (Kategorie B) waren mit einer Übung ohne Handgerät und mit Ball am Start.
Die Gruppe erturnte sich mit einer fast perfekten Kür, den phantastischen Zweiten Rang und wurden somit Vizeschweizermeister!
Mit diesem riesigen Erfolg hatten weder die Mädchen, deren Eltern noch die Trainerinnen gerechnet.
Ein Traum vom Podestplatz an einer Schweizer Meisterschaft ging in Erfüllung.
Am zweiten Wettkampftag erzielten die 12 Mädchen die persönliche Bestnote mit Ball 9.26.
Mit dieser hohen Note verpasste die Gruppe das Podest um 0.03 Punkte nur knapp, erhielt dafür eine Auszeichnung.
